From the "Vault": Butterfly Nails

Hello!

I haven't had much time to paint my nails, but I wanted to share an old mani I did but never posted :)

This was my first attempt at butterfly nails...I wasn't happy with my pointer, but the other three turned out okay!

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!

Sorry I've been MIA - finals are almost over and I'll be graduating!

So, I'm supposed to be participating in May challenge. I have failed miserably! While I did do the roses, I never got them posted. I'll try to keep up from now on!

You can check out all the other awesome bloggers participating here:

Carmina from Cubbiful
Nicole from Dipped in Lacquer
Paulina from Paulina’s Passions
Kristina from Polish and Repeat
Rachael from Rachos Nail Love

Today I have an older set of nails I did for my mom! My mom usually doesn't keep her nails painted, but she lets me do hers whenever I see her! And this really was a perfect gift for my mother :)

These were done for a second amendment rights rally at our state capitol. It's a pistol on her thumb (and a really bad rifle on the other), with the other nails representing the American flag. I used silver caviar beads to create the flag stars :)

It is not my intent to politicize this blog, which is why I refrained from posting these sooner.
My mother has her conceal and carry permit(and took the two-day class for it), we've done hunter's education safety courses together, and I have been raised to treat guns with caution but not to fear them. I personally really enjoy skeet shooting with shotguns :)

If you want to see more photos, hit "read more". Just be warned my mom is holding her unloaded pistol, so if that would offend or upset you, don't look!
